I also have my Senator's and Assemblywoman's addresses and phone numbers in my address book. Congresswoman Lucille Roybal-Allard and Senator Barbara Boxer. Just in case you thought I didn't know who they are. I depend on my computer a lot it has a good address book. I have a laptop computer for backup.

Few people eat as balanced a meal as I do. I was just making up a grocery list and I sure can spend the money. I would need about $200 just for groceries. I'm sure glad I have Meals-On-Wheels. Otherwise I would be clipping coupons.

I will have to watch using the Aspirin for a sleep aid, my stomach is beginning to bother me.
I don't want acid reflux again. It is getting late and I need my sleep so I am going to go. Love, Peace and Wisdom.
I was looking into Social Security when I was a young lady. I found out it was a government insurance program for workers retirement. We paid into it from our paycheck and we would take out of it when we retired. We were using our own money not someone elses money. The government invested our money for us. The government also insisted on an equal investment from our employers. The Social Security Trust Fund grew and prospered. It was the only government program that did. So someone somewhere got the "bright" idea of using that money to pay off the Federal deficit. A lawsuit ensued but the Supreme Court sided with the government. They caved in, the cowards. They let the government steal our money. They didn't ask us how we felt about it. I, for one, am letting you know how I feel about it. I am angry. Then President Bush got the idea to privatize Social Security leaving everyone who doesn't know how to invest out in the cold. Everyone who doesn't have the time to invest and earn enough money is left out in the cold too. Then, Thank God, President Barack H. Obama came along and is saving our a....s. He is against the Privatization of Social Security. Now we must get behind him and write congress telling them what we want. We must call too. If you don't have the addresses then Google them. You surely have the name. We want some action from Congress we want them to vote for the Economic Stimulus Package. It is going through the Senate right now as I type. President Barack H. Obama has just set up a website for the White House where you can type in a brief note to him. You are limited to 500 characters. It is called http://www.ContactUs.gov. You'd be surprised how much you can say in 500 characters. Try making a brief outline first. Now, back to the Social Security. We need to get enough to cover our living expenses, just the necessities will do. No frills. No Pork. Just food, housing, clothing and transportation. Oh, and to cover the drug costs. For those who have them. I have therapy to pay for, too. And a phone for emergencies. Those 911 calls, for instance.
